Advantages of Ceramica Stefani filters
Natural material - water stands in a clay (terracotta) container before and after filtering.
Microporous ceramic filter cartridges provide cleaner, crystal and healthy water.
Due to its porosity, it cools the water in a natural way, up to 5 °C cooler than room temperature.
Float valve doubles the water storage capacity.
Click tap allows easy pouring.
How does a gravity filtration system with a sterilizing ceramic cartridge work
(triple action)
First stage: water flows through a microporous ceramic wall that retains solid
particles and impurities.
Second stage: an inner layer of colloidal silver sterilizes the water and removes bacteria.
Third stage: water flows through activated carbon (vegetable, from coconut shell), which removes odor, taste and chlorine.
Fourth stage: the water enters the lower chamber clean and safe to drink.
Note: in terracotta containers, the water cools down to up to 5 °C below room temperature.
Important information - temperature, appearance and taste of water
Filters with a terracotta container naturally cool the water. This is due to the porosity of the material, which allows heat exchange with the surroundings. The product should be placed in a ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and not on surfaces that can be damaged by moisture.
In the first few days, the water may acquire a characteristic taste and smell of ceramics, which is not harmful to health and disappears over time.
In filters with a sterilizing ceramic cartridge, tiny black particles of activated carbon may be released from the inside and accumulate at the bottom of the lower chamber. These particles are not harmful. Remove them with water and a soft cloth.
The terracotta container in which the water stands (before or after filtering) darkens somewhat due to the porosity of the material. This is a natural phenomenon and does not affect the quality. The outside has a special coating that is water-repellent, so there will be no leaks.
